Supervisor For Brookline And Boston Common Urgent Care Centers
Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high-quality, low-cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham's unified system strategy to bring healthcare closer to patients while lowering total healthcare costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites.
Urgent care, sometimes known as walk-in care, fast care, or express care, is a convenient option for patients who require timely medical care, but the situation is not an emergency. We treat adults and children ages 3 and older and provide care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, including allergies, asthma, coughs, bronchitis, colds, flu, COVID-19, fever, headache, broken bones, sprains and strains, eye and ear infections, rashes, cuts, sexually transmitted infections, stomach pain, diarrhea, and vomiting. Because patients typically come to us when they aren't feeling their best, it is incredibly important to us that our staff members strive to provide the compassion and emotional support our patients need.
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Supervisor to support our Brookline and Boston Common Urgent Care centers! Our centers are located at 1285 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA and 137 Stuart St, Boston, MA. The Supervisor will report to the Senior Operations Manager and will work in close partnership with them to oversee the operations of the practices, and supervise our team of Medical Assistants, Rad Techs, and front desk staff. To manage staffing and / or center based operational issues, this team member will cross cover as needed and must be willing to take on additional responsibilities and provide assistance in all areas needed. On-site presence will be primarily Monday-Friday; however, since Urgent Care is a 7-day-per-week operation that delivers care during the day, evening, weekends, and holidays, additional coverage may be requested as needed.
