job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 0+ years of experience. Experience with PLC programs such as RSLogix, TIA Portal and Unity is preferred, but not required. Computer literate; combination of training and experience. Ability to break down large tasks into smaller subtasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Producing control system electrical schematics. Understanding PLC control ladder logic. Writing controls functional specifications and sequence of operations. Developing HMI user interface screens. Developing and testing control systems adhering to customer specifications and quality standards. Performing onsite start-up and troubleshooting / resolving technical issues. Commissioning I / O, sequence of operations and interface screens. Scheduled hours are typically 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday with 1 hour for lunch; flexibility may be required to change hours as necessary. Must be able to travel as project requirements dictate; willing to travel locally, nationally, and internationally by motor vehicle or air. Indoors and outdoors, part-time office environment, remote site office, building construction environments; potentially hazardous. Subject to exposure to light and glare from CRT or monitor.

Responsibilities
- Develop and test control systems adhering to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Produce control system electrical schematics and develop HMI user interface screens.
- Understand PLC control ladder logic and write controls functional specifications and sequence of operations.
- Participate in onsite start-up and troubleshooting / resolving technical issues.
- Commission I / O, sequence of operations, and interface screens.
- Collaborate on projects to break down large tasks into smaller subtasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Support hardware, software, and design requirements across projects.
