About the role

Forterra is seeking a highly organized and motivated Capture and Proposal Analyst to join our Growth team. This role is essential to supporting the full lifecycle of federal business development, from early opportunity identification and qualification through proposal submission. In this role, you'll play a vital part in advancing our pursuit of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and other strategic opportunities aligned with Forterra's mission to deliver autonomy-enabling technology to the modern warfighter.

What you'll do

• Support the capture process across multiple federal opportunities, assisting in the development of win strategies, solution positioning, and customer engagement planning.
• Develop and maintain opportunity and capture documentation (e.g., opportunity trackers, capture plans).
• Lead the preparation of proposal responses to RFI, RFP , and BAAs, including writing and editing content, coordinating input from subject matter experts, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
• Manage proposal calendars and submission schedules, keeping internal stakeholders aligned and informed.
• Conduct research on government customers, competitors, and acquisition trends to inform capture and proposal strategies.
• Assist with formatting, proofreading, and final production of proposal submissions.
• Participate in after-action reviews and support continuous improvement of capture and proposal processes.
