As Carrier Manager, you'll be the crucial bridge between our logistics operations and our customers. You'll ensure freight moves on time, cost-effectively, and safelyevery single day. Your decisions will directly influence customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and bottom-line performance.

Own carrier relationships across a network of 30+ partners

Negotiate contracts and rate structures to meet cost and service benchmarks

Handle day-to-day load coverage, carrier communications, and issue resolution

Monitor KPIs like on-time delivery, load cost, and billing accuracy to drive accountability

Collaborate with internal teams to align warehouse schedules, sales expectations, and service promises

Lead or support RFPs and help shape carrier strategy as we implement new technologies

Eventually transition from tactical load management to more strategic carrier optimization

You'll inherit a critical role that touches nearly every part of our operations

You'll help drive automation and reporting initiatives that shape the future of the function

You'll gain exposure to executive leadership through reporting, cost-saving initiatives, and RFP involvement

You'll be empowered to challenge legacy processes and lead change in how we move products

58 years in transportation, logistics, or freight sourcingideally in food, CPG, or multi-site manufacturing

Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and handle cost / service trade-offs

Strong Excel skills and comfort with freight systems (TMS, FourKites, etc.)

Calm under fire, collaborative across departments, and ready to influence others without direct authority

Analytical thinker who balances cost and service

Team-first mentality that owns outcomes without pointing fingers

Persuasive communicator who can diplomatically challenge decisions

Excited to grow into a more strategic function over time
