Refrigeration Engineer

Overview

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. A full-time position is available for a refrigeration engineer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job-site surveys; calculate refrigeration requirements for process cooling and building loads
• Assist in the development of project documentation including : drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), equipment schedules, details, specifications, scope of work, etc.
• Select and apply system equipment to new and existing systems
• Coordinate technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors and clients
• Some travel will be required

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have all of the following :

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience with any / all of the following : project management; ammonia refrigeration design; chilled water / hydronic design; equipment selection; developing piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs); Microsoft Office software; mentoring less experienced staff.
