Compliance Specialist

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.

Monitor and track regulatory updates across multiple jurisdictions relevant to P&C insurance (e.g., DOI bulletins, NAIC guidance).

Support state filings and regulatory reporting processes in coordination with underwriting, legal, and product teams.

Conduct regular internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Maintain compliance documentation, including records of training, filings, and regulatory correspondence.

Help manage producer licensing and appointment tracking.

Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries, exams, and audits.

Prepare training materials and assist in delivering compliance-related training to employees.

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.

A minimum of two years of experience in an insurance compliance position.

Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.

Knowledge of NAIC and state insurance regulatory compliance.

Working familiarity of SERFF - System for Electronic Rate Form Filings.

Working knowledge of Insurance Product Filings.

Knowledge of NAIC annual statement lines of business.

Excellent people and interpersonal skills.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
