Compensation

  • Line Cooks : $18.00 – $22.00 / hour
  • Dishwashers : $17.00 / hour

Goosefeather is the flagship restaurant of Food Crush Hospitality, founded by Chef Talde and his wife, Agnes Talde. Our back-of-house team works under the leadership of Executive Chef Jeremiah Shoemaker, who is dedicated to fostering creativity, precision, and teamwork in the kitchen.

About the Roles

Line Cooks

  • Execute dishes with precision and consistency, following Goosefeather’s standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized station throughout service.
  • Communicate clearly with fellow cooks and FOH staff.
  • Participate in prep, service, and breakdown.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.

    • Dishwashers

  • Maintain the flow of clean plates, cookware, and utensils.
  • Keep dish and kitchen areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
  • Assist with trash, recycling, and end-of-shift cleaning.
  • Support overall kitchen operations.

    • Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred (1+ years required for line cooks).
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is helpful but not required.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Comfortable with frequent bending, reaching, and carrying.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
