Summary
The Corrosion Services Manager provides leadership and technical expertise for corrosion-related projects across the company. This role supports business development, project execution, quality assurance, compliance, and personnel development, while also serving as a subject matter expert for clients and internal teams. The position reports to the Integrity Services Director and requires 25–30% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor technical staff, supporting recruiting, training, and career development.
- Oversee scope development, design direction, quality assurance, and compliance for corrosion projects.
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for internal teams and clients; maintain industry knowledge and standards.
- Support business development through proposals, client relationships, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and standards across workstreams.
- Represent the company in AMPP (NACE) committees, events, and membership oversight.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Professional Engineer license preferred (required within 1 year).Minimum 8 years of industry experience; NACE CP3 certification required.Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.Expertise in CP systems, AC mitigation, troubleshooting, and compliance with 49 CFR regulations.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MathCAD.Preferred certifications : NACE CP Specialist, Corrosion Specialist, or CP Technologist.Physical Requirements
Office-based with occasional field site visits.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
