They specialize in third-party flatbed, dry van, heavy haul, project logistics, and drayage capacity, serving a wide range of industries across North America.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Pipeline Management : Develop, manage, and nurture a consistent pipeline of qualified leads to meet new business goals through client meetings.
- Industry Expertise : Build and maintain expert knowledge of PGT Services and continuously enhance it through team meetings and sales training.
- Cold Outreach : Engage in high-volume prospecting via calls, emails, , and referrals to target industrial manufacturing companies. Make 60 outbound calls per day to build relationships and secure qualified meetings.
- Creative Sales Strategy : Propose new ideas and strategies for the sales team and approach prospects with innovative solutions.
- Full-Cycle Sales : Handle the entire sales process, targeting industrial sectors such as steel, building materials, pipe, and heavy machinery.
- Customer Collaboration : Work directly with customers' shipping teams to identify the best transportation solutions.
- Achieve Metrics : Meet or exceed appointment-setting and sales goals.
- Team Engagement : Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure smooth sales processes.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.Experience : Minimum of 1 year in a professional sales role, preferably with experience in transportation or logistics.Sales Skills : Strong strategic sales and closing experience with a result-driven approach.Customer Focus : Proven commitment to customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.Lead Management : Ability to manage a high volume of inbound leads.
