Summary
The Production Planner is responsible for accurately processing purchasing and cost data related to subcontracted production activities.
The position also manages the classification and accounting of tolling, rework, and claim costs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze cost variances and ensure data integrity.
In addition, the role requires strong communication skills to coordinate schedules and resolve closing issues with external vendors, including claim reconciliation and root cause follow-up.
Responsibilities :
- Ensured production goals were met by coordinating with outsourced packers
- Capability to collect purchasing data (based on Pack & LINK) from Outsourced packer and
perform IT system (ERP, SingleX, etc.) input and validation for monthly closing
Experience in accurate journal entry processing, preventing missed purchases, and performing accounting tasksin line with cut-off standards
Experience in classifying and processing various production – related external costs such as tolling fees,rework costs, and claim expenses in IT systems
Understanding of cost attribution based on root cause analysis and allocation by item or processAbility to review cost accuracy by comparing Pack & LINK delivery quantities and contracted unit pricesExperience working cross-functionally to analyze and adjust cost variances when discrepancies ariseExperience in coordinating month-end closing schedules with subcontractors and proactively addressingomissions or data errors
Ability to identify root cause of claims and handle post-issue reconciliation and resolution in collaborationwith vendors
Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processesand product quality

Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent, relevant experienceExperience :
1 to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the ESS industrySkills :
Strong written and oral communication skillsLeadership and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and understanding of multiple metricsAnalytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work cross-functionallyFluency in Korean is preferredMS Office suite
