Location : Westport Rd. Louisville, KY
Pay : $20.25 - $20.75
Shift : 8 hours days, 4 days weekly
6am -2pm 1st shift
2pm - 10pm 2nd shift
10pm - 6am 3rd shift

Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you’ll help ensure our products meet strict food safety and quality standards through documentation review, inspections, and collaboration with production teams. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) programs and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review daily production records to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Conduct daily sensory evaluations of food products to monitor consistency and quality.
- Manage product holds and coordinate the release of held items based on food safety assessments.
- Deliver training sessions on food safety and quality procedures to facility staff.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues related to non-conforming products.
- Perform routine audits of HACCP documentation and verify process adherence.
- Collect and process microbiological samples as part of routine quality checks.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of production lines to ensure readiness.
- Provide situational guidance based on historical quality and safety experiences.
- Work in a multi-climate environment and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and participating in audit activities.
- Maintain and verify calibration records for equipment used in quality testing.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Update and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and forms.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing setting.Background in the packaging or food products industry preferred.Hands-on experience with HACCP principles and documentation.Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.Solid understanding of FDA regulations and food safety standards.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Work Environment & Physical Demands :
This is a multi-climate facility, and temperatures may vary.Exposure to food ingredients, cleaning agents, and production noise is common.Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts and lift up to 50 lbs.Why Join Us?
