Description
ESC has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytically driven Audience Operations Analyst to help power data-backed decision-making for our premier beauty client's fast-growing retail media network. This is a remote position where you'll build and activate custom audience segments using first-party data and leading AdTech / MarTech platforms-fueling campaigns that connect millions of beauty lovers with the products they love.
Working at the intersection of audience strategy, digital media, and marketing technology, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Analytics, and external agencies to drive precision targeting and campaign efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, a data-first approach, and the ability to turn business needs into actionable segmentation.
What You'll Do
- Create and activate custom audiences based on campaign goals, channels, and guest data
- Translate business objectives into audience segmentation strategies using 1P data
- Leverage audience and journey insights to inform future campaign planning and targeting
- Monitor performance of audience segments to reduce fatigue and enhance impact
- Partner with Sales, Strategy, and Product teams to define and deliver target audiences
- Collaborate with external Ad Agencies and Tech partners to align targeting strategies
- Maintain clear workflows and timelines in Monday.com for cross-functional transparency
- Apply A / B testing and performance analytics to optimize segmentation over time
- Track digital media and consumer trends to identify emerging audience opportunities
- Recommend segmentation strategies that maximize ROAS and guest engagement
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline preferred2+ years of experience in digital advertising or media, ideally within retail or e-commerceDemonstrated experience building and activating audiences using 1P dataProficiency in AdTech / MarTech tools like LiveRamp, SAS CRM, or Adobe CDPStrong knowledge of segmentation tools and digital media targetingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailProficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPointSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and drive projects forwardStrong written and verbal communication skills; team player who collaborates well across departmentsComfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting prioritiesNice to Have
Experience with customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketingBackground in retail media or media planningWorking knowledge of SQL or other data query languagesFamiliarity with consumer insights tools and audience analytics platforms
