Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and update accurate inventory records and component locations within MRP / ERP systems
  • Accurately record all material movements and transactions
  • Pick and kit jobs completely and correctly to keep fabrication and assembly on schedule
  • Communicate daily with work-cell leads and Production Scheduler to adjust priorities
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including cycle counts, min-max reporting, and scrap processing
  • Identify and submit at least two process-improvement opportunities per month

Requirements :

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly and stand for at least 8 hours per day
  • Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned shop environment
  • Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office and MRP / ERP systems (experience with COUNTERPART a plus)
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Certification in forklift operation (or willingness to obtain)
