Job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman / Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction site operations. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • Coordinate and manage construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Utilize tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for project estimating and management
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets contractual specifications
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders regarding project progress and any issues that arise
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in construction management
  • Work typical shifts of 10-hour days, 6 days per week, with scheduling determined by the site General Contractor (GC)
  • Manage crews typically ranging from 6 to 18 workers, depending on project size

  • Proven experience in construction site supervision or management
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools
  • Proficiency in project scheduling methodologies
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes specific to construction projects
  • Bilingual
  • Experience with DATACENTER projects is a plus
  • Ability to enforce quality control measures effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
  • Proficient in using software such as Procore and Bluebeam for project management tasks
