About Us

We are seeking Tagalog Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Tagalog (Filipino) is a priority language for immigration and naturalization cases, requiring interpreters who can deliver with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time Tagalog English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
  • Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and confidentiality in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
  • Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent / surge calls.
  • Follow USCIS / DHS compliance standards and interpreter ethics.
  • Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.

    • Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog (Filipino) and English.
  • 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, healthcare, or government preferred).
  • Familiarity with interpreter ethics and confidentiality requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and cultural competency.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3 / Tier 5 clearance.
