Human Resources Manager

Reports To : Human Resources Director
Oklahoma State University Medical Center is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Human Resources Manager to lead daily HR and Employee Health operations. This role supports compliance, process improvement, HRIS troubleshooting, and team development while contributing to organizational initiatives and workforce planning. The HR Manager ensures continuity of service, monitors key HR metrics, and partners with internal stakeholders to drive excellence in HR service delivery.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily operations of the HR and Employee Health departments, including workflow oversight and timely processing of employee actions.
- Maintain department calendar, deadlines, and compliance checkpoints.
- Review and improve onboarding, offboarding, and employee file processes.
- Conduct periodic audits of I-9s, licensure, and credentialing documentation.
- Track HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-fill, engagement scores, and compliance rates; develop dashboards and reports for leadership.
- Lead team huddles and align daily work with strategic goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and coordinate training plans for HR staff.
- Provide operational support across HR functions when team members are out of office.
- Escalate high-risk or sensitive employee relations or health cases to the HR Director.
- Troubleshoot HRIS system issues and liaise with IT or support teams.
- Manage onboarding and compliance tracking for medical students, interns, and residents.
- Support hospital-wide organizational development and culture initiatives.
- Deliver high-quality HR services that reflect OSUMC's values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or four years of direct experience may be substituted for formal education.3-5 years of progressive HR experience (Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Management experience required, preferably in Healthcare).Advanced working knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and HRIS systems.Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster team development.Preferred Qualifications :
