Remote role.
The Jira System Admin works within the Digital Quality Systems Engineering team to support and manage the Digital Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Jira Service Management platforms within the Digital business unit. This role will support configuration updates, user management, system maintenance, system documentation and testing activities, general user queries, and other responsibilities as needed to support a 1000+ user base within the Atlassian suite.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide Jira administration support to help with managing projects, service desk, and dashboards
- Responsible for creating and organizing new projects, configuring the layout, design, and Workflow of the Jira projects
- Responsible for performing user and group administration on Jira
- Responsible for writing complex JQL queries to create filters, reports, and dashboards for the stakeholders
- Test new features, plug-ins, and upgrades to ensure they are compatible
- Monitor the health and performance of the Jira systems / application and respond to incidents / alerts as they arise and update stakeholders on issue resolution
- Support ongoing improvement efforts through tool development, configuration, and administration
- Enhance information visualization through development of dashboards and user interfaces
- Coordinate with the Digital teams to understand their information needs and identify ways to visualize and present information in a user-friendly manner
Skill / Job Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or specialized training / certification (Or equivalent work experience)Minimum 5+ years relevant experienceStrong systems administration knowledge in the Atlassian Cloud suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.Experience with Script runner requiredExperience with Xray preferredSolutions-oriented mindset with strong UI / process thinking skillsExperience with Agile Scrum is a plusProven competency in dashboard design and information visualization techniquesAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members and vice-versaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsRestricted States - Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
