Traveling Home Equity Specialist
As our Traveling Home Equity Specialist, you will :
- Travel to assigned branch locations to conduct in-person Home Equity loan closings with borrowers.
- Review and explain loan documents to ensure borrower understanding and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain professional, friendly, and informative interaction with members during the loan closing process.
- Accept and complete Home Equity loan applications in person when needed.
- Learn and utilize the Home Equity processing system to assist in loan tracking and workflow management.
- Prepare and assemble Home Equity loan closing packages when necessary.
- Ensure all documents are properly signed, notarized, and completed before disbursement.
- Collaborate with loan processors, underwriters, and loan managers to ensure smooth and timely closings.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to real estate lending and consumer protection.
- Provide backup support to the Real Estate Team as needed.
Requirements :
High school graduateMinimum of 2 years of experience in real estate lending, preferably with Home Equity products.Strong knowledge of real estate loan documentation, closing procedures, and compliance regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA, etc.).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.Valid REAL ID driver's license and reliable transportation required.Comfortable with frequent travel to multiple credit union branches.Ability to learn new systems and adapt to process changes.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (preferred)Benefits :
