Senior Electrical Designer

Overview

Senior Electrical Designer at Magnum Trading and Technical Services (MTS). This position is onsite at Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Taylor, Texas, with primary work location near Manor, Texas. Local hire only; no relocation or per diem. Full-time onsite 5 days per week, no remote work or flex hours. Must pass a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check drawing and document packages for the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools (Tool Hookup).
• Collaborate with facilities engineering and design groups.
• Work with 2D CAD tools (primarily) with some interface to 3D systems (3D CAD not required).
• Follow Design & CAD best practices and maintain confidential information.
• Support engineering evaluations and project from initial design through construction.
• Proactively identify and solve customer problems; take ownership of projects; multi-task to meet deadlines.

This position is primarily office-based. Field investigations may require PPE (flame-retardant clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, safety footwear, fall protection). Occasional lifting or carrying of 5-10 lbs; ability to manipulate office materials.
