- Pay / Salary : $32 - $35 / hour. The rate may be negotiable within this range based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Type : Long-term Contract position with possibility of conversion to Direct Hire.

Responsibilities :
Thoroughly understand and be able to apply the FTNA door adjustment procedures.Be FVR’s representative in front of the rail car builder.Assist the rail car builder (and occasionally the transit authority) with debugging and troubleshooting the FTNA systems (as per contractual agreements between FTNA and the customer) – on an as required basis.Assist the rail car builder during the car commissioning and warranty phases of the project by providing support for the FTNA systems at the transit authority location and at the rail car assembly plant in other locations as required.Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical problems on the FTNA systems.Confirm the problem identified by the rail car builder.EXPERIENCE :
High School diploma; Technical certification(s) are an asset.At least 2 years of working as a technician or equivalent.Experience in Mass Transit or Rail is a plus.Strong knowledge of PCs / laptops.Strong knowledge of MS Excel.Ability to troubleshoot using the laptop as a tool.Ability to perform software downloads.Strong mechanical aptitudesTechnical competence in both electrical & mechanical systems.Hands on type of person.Ability to lead temporary manpower is an asset; Integrity & honesty.Accountability.Ability to work unsupervised in transit authority locations.Valid driver’s license.Technical training in both electrical & mechanical systems.Knowledge of the rail industry is a plus.If you are interested in this position, then please click Apply Now.
