Midas Hospitality is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help oversee our JdV by Hyatt located in Brooklyn, NY. This person will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the Housekeeping and Engineering departments of the hotel property. Areas of management include - budget, product quality and guest service.

What You Will Be Doing :

• Oversee all Front Desk and Housekeeping Department Operations
• Cover shifts as needed due to call-outs and to prevent overtime for hourly associates
• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.
• Opening and Closing of the House
• Maintain rooms control procedures and reports discrepancies to General Manager
• Issue supplies / goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction according to Hyatt standards.
• Participates in the Manager On Duty program
• Creates schedules for Housekeeping and Front Office Departments based on occupancy
• Obtain bids from suppliers as needed.
