May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) : Master’s Degree in Nursing required. National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse required. Current license to practice as CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required. Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
