Payroll Specialist :

This person will be a member of the Accounting Department reporting to Assistant Controller and will work with people within and outside of the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities :

  • Assembling of daily field logs / timecards, ensuring information is being reported timely.
  • Ability to work with Project Managers and Supervisors to make sure field logs / timecards are accurate and approved.
  • Processing daily field logs / timecards into accounting system timely.
  • Maintaining employee documents as necessary.
  • Maintaining confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure benefits and payroll services are delivered.

Specific Qualifications :

  • Associate's degree in accounting Preferred
  • Above average organizational skills
  • Experience working within the construction industry
  • Proficient at costing to jobs and phase codes
  • Experience using Vista
  • Experience using Sage
