Job Summary and Qualifications

This Job Description for the Nurse Manger in Labor and Delivery provides criteria for evaluation of the registered nurse working in the Nurse Manager position. The Nurse Manger of Labor and Delivery manages the unit and assists in the department's continuous, effective operation and the continuous improvement of its activities. The Nurse Manager oversees age specific care for adolescents, adults, and neonates.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience 3- 5 years of previous labor and delivery experience preferred. At least one year 1 year of current / recent management experience preferred.

Education

1. Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. 2. Educational requirements appropriate
