Within the Google Procurement Organization, the Category Management team partners closely with key stakeholders to help shape and implement procurement strategies. The Category Team is responsible for developing and driving holistic category strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and bringing excellence to Google-wide sourcing, supplier, and contract management.

In this role, you will be responsible for pioneering innovative category and sourcing strategies, cultivating strategic supplier relationships, and optimizing spend categories through data-driven insights to unlock value for Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $131,000-$192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
• 7 years of experience related to category management, procurement, or related fields.
• 5 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement roles, with a focus on managing engineering, technical operations or related categories.
• Experience with sourcing strategies, "Request For" processes (i.e., RFP, RFI, RFQ), negotiations, and supplier evaluations within designated categories, achieving cost savings and value creation.
• Experience with Contract Management within the Engineering and Technical Operations category, or related areas.
