SUMMARY : The Accounts Receivable Specialist II is responsible for the daily processing of bank deposits and outstanding account payments timely and accurately

DUTIES :

  • Prepares daily bank deposits; reviews for accuracy
  • Applies payments to outstanding invoices daily
  • Monitors and maintains accounts receivable aging; escalate past due accounts to account manager for follow up on collection; assist with additional correspondence and collection calls as directed.
  • Assist Data Entry Specialist to meet daily deadlines; Serve as back up support for Data Entry Specialist for accounts Receivable entries
  • Performs additional duties as assigned and required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • This position has no supervisor responsibilities

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting, or Finance or related field.
  • High School Diploma with 3 years of accounts receivable experience, in lieu of associates degree and corresponding experience
  • 3+ years of accounts receivable experience
  • Proficient on Microsoft Excel, Lotus Notes and Enterprise One accounting software package

    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Occasionally required to walk
  • Continually required to sit, talk or hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and / or use a keyboard
