Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Network Engineer to join our security business unit.

- Some after hours are required as projects and emergencies come up
Technical :
Assist in the configuration and deployment of network infrastructure components including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, storage solutions, virtualization solutions, and any other network devicesMonitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability, scalability, and availabilityAssist in configuration and maintain network protocols, such as TCP / IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and VPNs, to ensure optimal performance and securitySupport and maintain technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications such as Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, DirectAccess, Terminal Services / RDSCloud environments like Azure, AWS, & Google CloudDevelop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures for reference and training purposesSupport for Disaster Recovery strategies including server imaging and automated offsite backupsRemote access solution implementation and support (i.e., VPN, Terminal Services, & Citrix)Detailed KB documentation of customer's systemsDetailed ticket documentation of time spent on service issues and projectsProvide guidance, training, and technical support to junior team members and assist in their skill developmentBasic Qualifications :
Minimum five years of architect / engineer IT experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional, friendly, positive, optimistic demeanorA strong understanding of networking technologies, solutions, troubleshooting, & supportUbiquiti, Meraki Appliances, Cisco Networking Technology, Dell, EMC and HP Storage Solutions, VMware SolutionsImage based backup solutions.General Windows Desktop and Server AdministrationVirtual Desktop (Windows Virtual Desktop and VMware Horizons)Cloud (Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud)Preferred Qualifications :
