job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and identify any unusual activity. Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Assist staff, visitors, and / or patients by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner. Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support security-related needs and maintain a welcoming environment. Document and report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies according to established procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have received required vaccines as mandated by the hospital or healthcare facility. Must be able to assist in restraining individuals as needed in a hospital environment. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. A valid drivers license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
