About the Role :
We are looking for an LPN or Certified / Registered Medical Assistant to work in our Patient Call Center. This position is responsible for answering and appropriately taking messages from patients, pharmacies, home care agencies and other medical providers on the telephone.
- CMA / RMA hourly range is $19.50 - $26.50
- LPN hourly wage is $22.00 - $29.00
- Compensation is based on years of relevant experience
- $1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS : When hired as an LPN / CMA / RMA, you are eligible for a $1,500 tiered Sign-On Bonus! Bonuses will be paid in three installments. All signing bonuses will be treated as regular income and subject to all applicable taxes.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for utilizing standing orders, protocols / workflows, Briggs Triage book to provide caller with appropriate health informationDocument all patient related interactions in the medical record as described via telephoneCollect all information needed from the caller, especially regarding an acutely ill patient, utilize Briggs to inform caller of appropriate dispositionRelay information to caller recommendations for next steps as it relates to symptoms, provider response, lab results, medications, etc.Complete accurate, clear, detailed, thorough documentation on all telephone encounters and send telephone encounters to the providers for further actionRelays all information to provider from outside callers i.e. pharmacies, hospitals, home care agencies, long term care facilities, etc.Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating provider's advice from written messages and instructions following clinic-specific protocols and per Briggs recommendationsMaintains confidentiality in all matters regarding the clinic, patients, and employeesResponsible for call-backs to patients pertaining messages sent to providers and lab resultsProviders information regarding diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness per the Primary Care Provider's recommendation, per Briggs recommendations, or per Voyage Healthcare Provider Approved Standing OrdersRequirements :
Licensed by Minnesota Board of Nursing and / or Certification from AMT / AAMACPR CertificationMinimum 1 year experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organization skills and ability to work independently and in a team setting with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain customer service standardsVoyage Healthcare offers the following benefits :
