As a Project Manager II with Graycor Construction Company , you will have the authority to drive successful project results, moving your projects from preconstruction through final closeout in the safest manner possible while maintaining the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will primarily focus on the commercial and light industrial markets, including large distribution centers and general manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure all safety compliance and quality programs are being executed on the project site.
- Participate in bidding and pre-construction services.
- Represent Graycor as the primary contact for clients, communicating effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Manage the performance of support personnel such as Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Field Superintendents, and administrative staff.
- Maintain control over project budgets and schedules to ensure profitability.
- Execute subcontracts, purchase orders, and approve invoices and change requests; negotiate contract changes; complete project close-out and collect final payments.
- Mentor and train junior staff for career growth.
- Implement new ideas and participate actively in company committees and initiatives related to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
At least 7 years of relevant construction experience, managing distribution center and / or light industrial projects.Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.Willingness to travel up to 20%.Strong leadership, communication, multitasking, and scheduling skills, with proficiency in Primavera v6.Why Join Graycor?
