We are looking for a Highly Skilled Welder to read and interpret blueprints, models, and work instructions to set-up and weld tight-tolerance parts using GTAW and GMAW, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Duties :
Read and interpret blueprints, models, and work instructions to set-up and weld tight-tolerance parts using GTAW and GMAW.Accurately measure and inspect welded assemblies with ±.005"-.030" tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and other high-precision measuring instruments.Collaborate with other coworkers to determine manufacturing solutions for overcoming distortion, shrinkage, and other unforeseen welding related obstacles.Maintain a clean, organized work environment and comply with company-wide 6S standards.Perform duties in other departments as workload requires.Skills / Qualifications :
Minimum 4 years of verifiable and applicable tig welding experience.Experience with welding thin (.025"-.060") aerospace alloys such as aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and other reactive alloys is a plusExperience with straightening / forming of aerospace tube / duct components preferredAbility to think creatively and generate out-of-the-box solutionsCandidate must be a self-starter and have a desire to take on challenges with a "can do" attitudeMust be able to maintain notes and records of key welding characteristics such as amperage, A / C waveforms, technique, shrinkage / distortion measurements, etc.CWI certification is a plusCandidate must have strong mathematical and reading comprehension abilities, including the ability to read measurements in increments of .001" using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instrumentsExperience with safe rigging / lifting techniques for lifting complex assemblies using overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.Consistent and dependable attendance
