Operational Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating the day to day operation of processes in support of the various products and ancillary functions of multiple departments. Provides operational support to branch personnel as needed. Serves as a key operational resource for the enterprise. Develops, implements, communicates and manages branch-related operational policies and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Interfaces primarily with branch management, consumer lending manager and departmental heads, to ensure effective operations and minimize potential losses. Provides necessary support to branch and other enterprise personnel with questions and clarification relating to existing policies and procedures, dealing with requests to add new or change existing policies and procedures and general balancing issues. Submits management and personnel reports as required and assists in developing association policies and procedures.

Serves as the primary representative for all projects directly or indirectly related to Branch Support or branches. Researches, develops, implements, communicates and enforces all new Branch Support, branch, and product related policies and procedures.

Provides recommendations, documentation and implementation of new and revised procedures for efficient operations.

Oversees review of system exception and quality control reports for follow-up with branch operations.

Assists Human Resources by making recommendations for all officers in assigned areas concerning salary administration and personnel records. Interviews employee prospects, recommends candidates for hiring and makes personnel assignments.

Oversees and completes all projects as assigned. Keeps management apprised of all critical issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and / or Human Resources.

Experience

Five to eight years of branch management or related experience.

Education / Certifications / Licenses

A college degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of industry rules and regulations related to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Customer Identification Policy, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Regulation CC, Plastic Cards, and Funds Availability, etc. General capabilities in the use of personal computer based business application software.

The ability to motivate or influence others is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy, influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation internally or externally from a senior level, as well as frequent material presentations are important keys to successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
