The Director of Commercial Operations will lead the development, execution, and optimization of initiatives aimed at enhancing commercial productivity and performance throughout the organization.This role will act as a key partner to senior leadership and the sales team, driving cross-functional initiatives that promote revenue growth, operational excellence, and effective go-to-market strategies.This position requires a combination of high-level strategic thinking and thorough execution.The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a proven track record in commercial enablement, strategic planning, and data-driven sales optimization.Role and Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Executive teams to define and implement initiatives that align with Sydnexis' strategic priorities.Translate the executive vision into actionable programs and operational plans that scale with business growth.Act as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of Sales and Regional Leaders to enhance field readiness, enablement, and productivity.Lead the design and continuous improvement of the Sales Playbook and go-to-market processes.Develop and manage scalable tools, templates, and training programs to optimize the performance of representatives and managers.Oversee the creation and communication of commercial performance dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).Lead strategic analytics initiatives, including forecasting, funnel conversion analysis, and territory modeling.Ensure metrics are actionable and used to inform leadership decisions and performance management.Continuously assess operational workflows to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies.Partner with IT and commercial leadership to maintain the integrity of the Commercial Data Warehouse.Regularly review and integrate various internal and external data sources to ensure data quality, analytics, and reporting capabilities.Oversee additional field support services, such as the vehicle program and materials fulfillment.Lead the development and administration of motivational incentive plans and contests designed to support sales and marketing objectives.Collaborate with Marketing to conduct customer segmentation and targeting efforts to enhance sales efficiency and impact.Establish performance tracking and analytics capabilities, which include standard performance dashboards and ad hoc support for Marketing, Sales, and senior management.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred. Over 10 years of progressive experience in commercial strategy, sales operations, or sales enablement, preferably within the life sciences, healthcare technology, or top-tier consulting sectors. A proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives that have successfully enhanced commercial performance. Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority.
