The Facility Management Global Commodity Manager is\nresponsible for the strategic procurement of indirect materials and services\nrelated to facility management and facility services for Americas! This role\ninvolves developing and implementing global sourcing strategies, managing\nsupplier relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement practices!
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

- Global\n Sourcing & Strategy : Develop and implement\n global sourcing strategies for facility management-related indirect\n materials and services, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and\n overall procurement goals.

Supplier\n Management : Conduct market analysis, identify and\n assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts for favorable terms, and\n manage relationships to drive high performance and continuous improvement.\n\n
Market\n Analysis & Cost Optimization : Monitor industry trends\n to identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and\n innovative sourcing solutions.\n
Compliance\n & Reporting : Ensure adherence to company policies,\n procedures, and ethical standards; prepare and present procurement\n reports, performance metrics, and cost-savings results.\n
Cross-Functional\n Collaboration : Plan and implement contract negotiations,\n tenders, and projects involving internal and external partners,\n encouraging effective teamwork across regions.\n
Digital\n Transformation & Knowledge Sharing : Lead digital\n purchasing initiatives focused on automation, implement new processes, and\n promote knowledge exchange within the global purchasing network.\n
What You Bring (requirements)
\n
Bachelor's\n degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related\n field.\n
Minimum\n of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect\n materials and services.\n
Technical\n & Analytical Skills : Strong negotiation,\n contract management, and project management abilities, with proficiency in\n procurement software and tools and a proven track record in analytical and\n problem-solving tasks.\n
Collaboration\n & Communication : Excellent communication and\n interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in global,\n cross-functional team environments.\n
Applicants\n must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without\n need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens\n Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for\n internal transfers.\n
