Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.
Job Summary
Albany State University is seeking a Director of Student Health Services to lead its Student Health Services department . This on-site position provides strategic vision, leadership, and management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally competent health and wellness services that meet the needs of students.
The Director of Student Health Services is responsible for establishing priorities, developing policies and procedures, managing the operating budget, selecting and overseeing vendors, supervising healthcare and support staff, coordinating campus responses to emergencies and disasters, ensuring compliance with institutional and legal regulations, and representing the university in state system and community discussions related to student health and wellness.

Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing (MSN) with a specialization as Nurse Practitioner.
A current and valid Nurse Practitioner license to practice nursing in the state of Georgia.
3-5 years of professional work experience in student health services, public health, or a related field, combined with demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized national certifying body (e.g., ANNC, AANP) is preferred.
Proposed Salary
Compensation will be based on the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications.

Ability to accurately enter, manage, and analyze data using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
