Position Highlights

As the Library Digital Services Professional (LDSP), you'll provide expert technological support for colleagues and customers of our primary library management systems and related applications, including Ex Libris Alma, Ex Libris Primo VE, Ex Libris Rapido, and OCLC ILLiad. The LDSP will know how the individual systems work and how they interact with each other and other campus systems. The LDSP will also help configure and administer these systems, integrate them with external services, provide data extracts and reports as requested, provide training, and assist with vendors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Characteristic Duties

• Provide expert technical support for library management systems and related applications to support development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that enable discovery, access, and management of library materials.
• Create and customize reports from library management systems and related applications.
• Create and customize system integrations and data extracts.
• Extract, transfer, and load information between library management systems, related applications, and other campus systems, including scripting that communicates with accounting / bursar for fees, loading patrons, and coordinating with the Primo discovery layer and Rapido ILL.
