As the Library Digital Services Professional (LDSP), you’ll provide expert technological support for colleagues and customers of our primary library management systems and related applications, including Ex Libris Alma, Ex Libris Primo VE, Ex Libris Rapido, and OCLC ILLiad. The LDSP will know how the individual systems work and how they interact with each other and other campus systems. The LDSP will also help configure and administer these systems, integrate them with external services, provide data extracts and reports as requested, provide training, and assist with vendors.

Duties & Responsibilities

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES

Provide expert technological support for library management systems and related applications that support the development, implementation, and maintenance of library management systems to enable discovery, access, and management of library materials and related applications :

• Create and customize reports from library management systems and related applications
• Create and customize system integrations and data extracts

Extract, transfer, and load information between library management systems, related applications and other campus systems. Examples of this type of work include :

Provide software development and support expertise for applications and scripting related to the library management systems and their interactions with other campus systems, ensuring library system security and data reliability to the library management systems :
