As a Senior Gearbox Design Engineer with The Cadillac Formula 1® Team, you’ll play a critical role in developing innovative, lightweight, and reliable gearbox solutions that deliver maximum performance under extreme racing conditions. This is a technical leadership role within our Powertrain Group, where you’ll lead end-to-end gearbox design and integration while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across disciplines. You will :

• Own the end-to-end design, integration, and continuous development of gearbox assemblies and related transmission systems
• Act as the primary technical liaison between design, analysis, manufacturing, and trackside operations
• Lead complex mechanical design projects from concept through on-track validation
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their growth and development
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and FIA regulatory requirements
