Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks® Online
- Maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors
- Process billing for services provided to customers
- Complete accounts payable activities
- Complete accounts receivable activities
- Maintain petty cash fund
- Prepare and maintain cash management reports
- Process payroll
- Record and pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Maintain the petty cash fund
- Reconcile credit card statement
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Follow accounting policies and procedures
- Reconcile / Verify certain reoccurring expenses (cell phone, insurance, local taxes, business license, etc.) prior to processing payment
Position Requirements
3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online®2+ years of experience with collection activitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voicePolite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skillsExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailVery self-motivated and goal-orientedCapability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)Strong professional background of 2-3 years A / P and A / R experience preferredAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
