Lifecycle Engineering Manager

Overview

The Opportunity :

CACI is seeking a Lifecycle Engineering Manager in support of the Military Sealift Command (MSC). These ships are operated by US Coast Guard (USCG) licensed Merchant Mariners and maintained to commercial standards. Ships are both Government Owned-Government Operated (GOGO) or Government Owned-Contractor Operated (GOCO). MSC follows the commercial model for their policy system using a Quality Management System (QMS) ashore and a Safety Management System (SMS) afloat and following the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and USCG regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the pre-planning of MSC\'s Availability Planning Cell (APC).

• Manage and support life cycle management engineering and planning for assigned Military Sealift Command (MSC) ships including the development of long range (5-30 year) plans for maintenance, operation, repair, and support of TRANSALT.
• Provide ship availability Program Management (PM) and technical support to Military Sealift Command (MSC) vessels.
• Manage the APC to accomplish the specific tasks for assigned work items.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is :

$68,400-$143,700
