The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as chief leader of Chicago House and, in partnership with the Board of Trustees, is responsible for the success of Chicago House. Together, the Board of Trustees and CEO assure Chicago House's relevance to the community as a housing provider, the accomplishment of Chicago House mission and vision, and the accountability of Chicago House to its donors.
The Board of Trustees delegates responsibility for management and day-to day operations to the CEO, and he / she / they have the authority to carry out these responsibilities, in accordance with the direction and policies that have been established. The CEO provides direction and enables the Board of Trustees to carry out its governance functions.
