We are looking for a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual to manage complex payroll operations, including multi-state payroll processing and union agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll systems and compliance, ensuring accurate categorizations and reporting for W-2 forms.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze payroll data to identify and categorize overtime payments based on union agreements and company policies.
- Investigate past payroll corrections and retroactive payments to ensure proper classification and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline payroll processes across different systems, including time and labor tracking and payroll issuance.
- Manage multi-state payroll operations for both union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process bi-monthly payroll for over 500 employees.
- Prepare detailed reports for W-2 forms, addressing overtime premiums and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Monitor payroll activities to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support the team in finalizing payroll processes within the project timeline of 3-4 weeks.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll-related tasks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address payroll-related concerns and provide solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll management.
- Proficiency in multi-state payroll processing, including union and non-union environments.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations.
- Familiarity with processing payroll for over 500 employees.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and reporting requirements, including W-2 forms.
- Ability to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and retroactive payment issues.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills to manage complex payroll systems.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
