Automation Technician II

Position Summary : Install new or existing automation equipment in a cell or standalone operation. Ensure automation runs meet the requirements set by engineering and operations management. Use moving and leveling equipment for large automation installations. Follow instructions from senior automation personnel. Setup and change over automation in cells or standalone. Learn the setup of robotics, automation cells, and standalone automation equipment. Follow verbal and written instructions for equipment changeover across multiple product lines. Possess repair and troubleshooting skills. Have a basic knowledge of electrical and electronics for diagnosing machine issues. Understand multi-meters, electrical testing devices, and thermal testing equipment. Learn inputs, outputs, PLC logic, and basic vision system functions within a prescribed timeline.
