POSITION SUMMARY
The Department of Educational Leadership and Research Methodology in the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School Leaders Program, beginning Fall 2026. This 9-month appointment seeks a scholar dedicated to advancing democratic principles, excellence, and innovation in preparing educational leaders across P20 contexts. The successful candidate will maintain a focused research agenda, teach graduate-level courses, and serve on Ph.D. dissertation committees as content and methodological expert. The School Leaders faculty supports robust masters and doctoral programs, and the selected candidate is expected to collaborate ethically with colleagues, students, and partners to advance the mission and goals of the program, department, college, and university.

The Department of Educational Leadership and Research Methodology (ELRM) in FAUs College of Education prepares the next generation of leaders in K12 schools, higher education, and research methodology. Offering masters, specialist, and doctoral degrees, ELRM combines rigorous scholarship with practice-based preparation to equip leaders who are ethical, innovative, and democratic. Faculty in the department are active scholars and mentors who work collaboratively with schools, districts, universities, and communities to strengthen educational systems across Florida and beyond.
