Lang Recruiting has an exciting opportunity for a DeltaV Engineer to join a growing automation team supporting the Life Sciences industry. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in dynamic system integration environments and want to make a direct impact on projects that advance global healthcare.

As a DeltaV Engineer, you’ll design, configure, and implement advanced Emerson DeltaV automation solutions for biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, regulatory-compliant automation while also mentoring junior engineers and growing your own expertise.

What You’ll Do

Design and configure Emerson DeltaV control systems and batch processes (ISA-88 standards).
Develop system architecture, specifications, and control strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Configure controllers, HMI, and historian solutions with compliance to GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
Lead FAT / SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

3–7 years of automation / control system engineering, with strong DeltaV experience.

Proficiency in ISA-88 Batch Processing and DeltaV Batch configuration.

Familiarity with automation protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus TCP / IP, Ethernet / IP, OPC).

Life Sciences experience preferred, but strong DeltaV backgrounds from other industries will be considered.

Knowledge of GAMP5, cGMP, and validation processes.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Willingness to travel up to 25% for client support and commissioning.
