The primary purpose of this position is to play a key local role in optimizing logistics flows within the factory and across the supply network. This position focuses on improving end-to-end processes, automating planning and procurement activities, and ensuring data accuracy and procedural compliance to drive operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize logistics flows within the factory and across the supply network.
- Support procurement and production planning when standard procedures cannot be executed.
- Automate planning and procurement processes to improve efficiency.
- Lead internal and cross-plant logistics improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.
- Conduct logistics analysis to optimize inventory management.
- Execute pallet and forklift operations according to global standards, optimized division and local site utilization and cost efficiency.
- Monitor logistics performance and contribute to global KPI reporting with local data and improvement actions.
- Identify and act on improvement opportunities within the site's logistic flows.
- Lead / participate in local optimization projects.
Secondary Responsibilities
Ensure documentation of new procedures for logistics and planning operations.Support the design and documentation of new products, product changes, and process updates.Establish and maintain trade agreements with internal customers and suppliers.Monthly Salary Range : $6,916.00 - $8,645.00.
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree is preferred.One to three years applicable experience in logistic or supply chain process flows is required.One to three years of heavy statistical analysis with strategic implications is required.Applied Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required. A high level of expertise in Microsoft Excel is required.Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.Solid understanding of production systems and market dynamics.Proficiency in SAP and SAP IBP.Experience with Power BI.Familiarity with lean methodologies such as VOS or similar.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global team environment.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and good problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills both oral and written.Overall good attendance, quality and work record while presenting a positive / professional image.Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards / announcements, terms / conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.Company Benefits :
