Position Title : Administrative Assistant
Location : Houston, TX
Assignment Type : Direct Hire
Compensation : $23 - $30 / hr DOE
Work Schedul e : Monday–Friday, 8-5 pm
Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Overview
This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and general office support tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly. The role reports to the Office Manager.
Essential Functions
- Perform general clerical support duties for various departments
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and correspondence as needed
- Assist with event set-up and teardown
- Serve as backup to front-desk reception : answer calls, route to appropriate parties, and provide general information as needed
- Greet and direct guests and visitors in the main reception area
- Update and maintain user information in company systems as assigned
- Assist with assigning, updating, and / or troubleshooting parking and security badges
- Process and code administrative invoices for timely payment, resolving any issues or discrepancies with vendor accounts
- Process expense reports for executive leadership as requested
- Assist with mail distribution, mailouts, shipments, and deliveries
- Coordinate and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Conduct daily conference room readiness inspections
- Set up and tear down coffee bars and breakroom serving areas
- Manage recurring office and hospitality supply inventory and rotation
- Accompany service vendors during on-site visits as needed
- Other duties as assigned

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
