Position Overview :
A manufacturing and distribution company in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee and streamline shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role is essential to ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and effective communication across departments and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate daily shipments and deliveries with carriers and warehouse staff
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock movement
Prepare and manage shipping documents, labels, and bills of lading
Track orders and provide timely updates on delivery status
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues
Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and inventory transactions
Assist with freight quotes, scheduling pickups, and managing logistics costs
Support continuous improvement initiatives in shipping and receiving processes
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in logistics or supply chain preferred
3-5 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or warehouse operations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); ERP or WMS experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
