Territory Business Manager, Production - Northeast
The Production Territory Manager is a hybrid role encompasses both a sales element as well as providing technical support on reproduction to veterinarians and dairy producers. This position will report to the VP US Commercial Sales.
Position Mission : Production Territory Business Manager will have full ownership for the sales and customers in their territory that will include Northeast (including but not limited to NY and PA). They will nurture current relationships while also developing new relationships with potential clients to grow the territory. This position will be responsible for achieving sales objectives through proper territory management, focusing on targeted customers, and selling the benefits of Parnell’s brand including our proprietary software, as well as their own technical expertise.
Expected Outcomes Include :
- Growth of the business through a concrete understanding of the territory and an established, productive, long-term business relationship with key accounts
- Sales of Parnell service to veterinarians and dairy producers; including reproductive drugs and digital technology tools
- Arrange meetings with potential customers through cold calling (both via telephone and in person). Call on 20 customers per week, 240 per quarter
- Successfully train customers and their staff to further develop their knowledge and technical skills around reproduction and herd management
- Achievement of sales and growth objectives; monthly, quarterly, and yearly. This includes converting new cows onto Parnell products each quarter.
- Provide insight to the Marketing Manager into the target market, to assist with the Company's marketing strategy
- Convert producers and vets within the territory to utilize our proprietary reproductive software and perform 12 installations of mySYNCH each quarter
- Produce accurate sales forecasts for individual key accounts within the territory and manage to them
- Represent Parnell at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations including hosting reproductive forums for customers
