Job Description : We're seeking a detail-oriented DB Plan Administrator to manage and ensure compliance for our clients' defined benefit retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plan administration, knowledge of regulations, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of defined benefit pension plans.
- Process pension payments, contributions, and adjustments accurately and on time.
- Conduct annual compliance testing and actuarial valuation coordination.
- Prepare and file required regulatory forms, including IRS Form 5500, and ensure ERISA / IRS compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of participant data and plan information.
- Communicate with participants to answer inquiries and assist with retirement planning.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and trends to advise clients and ensure plan compliance.
Requirements
Pension Plan Administrator certification (e.g., QPA, ASPA) or similar (preferred).2+ years' experience in defined benefit plan administration.Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Benefits
